ASTROLOGICAL FORECAST FOR JANUARY 2025

Happy New Year to all your family and friends of Astrological Varieties.

I have created a new website with lots of added information, photos slides and an all-around professional look that engages everyone visiting my site to participate in the knowledge of astrology and my You Tube channel. 

On the first day of January 2025 Mercury out of its recent retrograde shadow at 20 degrees of Sagittarius.

The signs of Sagittarius, Gemini and Virgo start off the year with confidence and ready to put all the plans they made in December’s 2024 Mercury retrograde into motion. 

Venus moves into the sign of Pisces on January 2ndwhere Venus feels most comfortable since Venus is exalted in Pisces. If you have your Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Pisces, you attract beauty, balance, abundance, and romance till February 4, 2025. 

Pisces wants a break, and they will get it in 2025 and 2026. The reasons for this are they start off with the lucky charm of Venus and the North Node will enter Pisces on January 13th, giving added gains in all areas of life for an 18-month period.

North Node represents gains or adding to one’s life. The opposite South Node will be in Virgo, adding losses that open the heart more and heal past karma. See forecast for 2025 on my website for all the details. 

The signs that will have the most growth this year are Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo and Pisces. The other six signs will still go through growth but not as much as the signs just mentioned. 

Mars stationed retrograde on December 6, 2024, at six degrees of Leo and will enter the sign of Cancer, in retrograde motion, on January 6, 2025. It will not station direct in Cancer till February 24, 2025.

This puts some of the plans for the signs of Leo and Cancer on hold or at least at a slower pace than they would like. Mars represents physical vitality and strengthens the immune system.

Therefore, both the signs of Leo and Cancer need to brush up on their health habits, especially the sign of Cancer which is not known to be the most dynamic sign in the Zodiac and Mars is in its Fall in the sign of Cancer. 

This all means that both the signs of Leo and Cancer need to pay attention more to their internal dialogue when it comes to health. Get plenty of rest, learn “Inner Grace Meditation” and take high quality vitamin/mineral supplements.

To those who have a dominance of Leo or Cancer energies, remember that when the physical world is not moving fast enough for you or falls apart, you have an opportunity to grow more from within and this makes spirituality grow more. 

Mercury moves into Capricorn on January 8th, reminding us of our responsibilities to life till January 27th. Capricorn reminds us that its time to get back to work and be productive. 

The full Moon on January 13th is in the sign of Cancer at 24 degrees and Mars in retrograde motion is at 27 degrees forming a conjunction. The full Moon is at (5:27PM EST).

If you have Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Cancer this is a very emotional time for you and its explosive with Pluto opposing both the Moon and Mars. Breath and I mean deeply. 

It is the breath of life that allows us to calm down but also to energize the blood and release stagnant energy from the weight of emotions that you may be holding onto. Karma with your mother or woman may become unavoidable with a disagreement or two. 

Drink plenty of water also to move emotional blockages as the sign of Cancer is a water sign and there is no fire element in this full Moon chart. Fire helps to move physical energy and the lack of it needs help from one of the other elements. In this case water would be of help.

Mars is retrograde in Cancer and with no fire element can create the need for deep rest and feeling like you just don’t want to do anything. Taking a walk or doing some yoga poses can be very helpful at this time. 

There are no stressful T-squares or Yod’s in this full Moon chart, so we finally get a break from all the stressful new and full Moon charts we had in December of 2024. This is good news for the signs of Cancer, Capricorn, Aquarius, Leo and Pisces as trines and sextiles offer the opportunity to flow with life more gracefully. 

Most of the Moon’s eclipses this year and in 2026 will be in the signs of Pisces and Virgo showing more focus on spirituality and health rather than on war since over the last 18 months Aries and Libra have dominated the eclipses and Nodes trying to find a peaceful solution (Libra) but war continues to expand (Aries). 

The Sun moves into Aquarius on January 19th. Happy Birthday to those born under the sign of Aquarius. 

Happy Martin Luther King Day on January 20th. It’s hard to believe that elect President Trump will be sworn in on the same day. His audience may be limited, and you know Trump wants a large audience. LOL….

The energy of Aquarius wants something new from our government. Can they deliver it with a new administration? 

We are already seeing different players in the game such as Elon Musk that can cause more chaos if they overstep their posture of power. We never hear about V.P. J.D. Vance. That could create some tensions also. I wish the new administration all the luck so America can become more stress free. 

Mercury moves into the sign of Aquarius on January 27thand the new Moon on January 29th at 9 degrees is also in Aquarius (07:36AM). 

Pluto moved into Aquarius on November 19, 2024, and will not retrograde back into Capricorn anymore. Pluto will remain in Aquarius till 2044. 

The Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Pluto as well as the part of fortune in this new Moon chart starts to roll out some of the elements and issues that Aquarius represents throughout 2025.

New innovative technologies, an increased interest in astrology, communities standing up for themselves and wanting to claim their own self-empowerment, the value of friendships and working in small groups. 

This new Moon chart has no stressful aspects either, so both the full and new Moon in January that gives us a needed break from tensions. They will make Elon Musk look like a child playing with toys. 

Pluto must get to three degrees before it settles into the sign of Aquarius which is the rebel of the Zodiac and non-traditional in the way we organize our lives. Pluto will get to three degrees in February of 2026 so it may take that long before violence takes a back seat to peace in America and around the world. 

This new Moon offers opportunity and growth to the signs of Gemini, Aquarius, Sagittarius, and Pisces. These signs will benefit in all areas of their lives from January 29th till the next full Moon on February 12th, 2025. 

Neptune will station direct in Pisces having been retrograde since July 2nd, 2024, on January 30th giving the sign of Pisces more opportunities to grow this year. Neptune will enter Aries at the end of March 2025 and start to set up a “Minor Grand Trine” which will be the major aspect of 20205, 2026 and 2027 for the signs of Aries, Gemini, and Aquarius.

When Neptune stations direct the only planets in retrograde motion entering February will be Mars till February 24, 2025. Then all planets will be in forward motion.
