ASTROLOGICAL FORECAST For january 2026
Happy New Year 2026:
January starts off with Mercury entering the sign of Capricorn. If you have Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Capricorn, you start 2026 off with a focused mind and plenty of work to be done.

Capricorn is the carpenter of the Zodiac, and they enjoy working as the practical down-to-Earth electricians, plumbers, carpenters and on the town committee team to make sure everything is in order.
They also work in large corporations, state, and federal government jobs. They know how to be patient with day-to-day details that create law and order.
Whatever they put their mind on will build on benefits that continue throughout this year. However, they must be careful to balance work life with family life, or their personal relationships could be compromised in the first few weeks of January.
We have a Supermoon in Cancer on January 3rd at 13 degrees (5:03AM EST). This is the first of three Supermoons in 2026. This full Moon is called the Wolf Moon.
Supermoons are closer to the Earth, so they appear larger and more influential to the sign the Supermoon is in.
If you have Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Cancer you are feeling things deeply and your intuition is strong till the new Moon on January 18th.
Jupiter is at 21 degrees Cancer so a wide conjunction, but Jupiter is in retrograde motion and will conjunct the Moon over the next couple of days AFTER the full Supermoon.
Jupiter creates good luck so if you are a sensitive crab you may feel like your luck is abundant to start off this year. Play the lottery/scratch ticket around the time of this larger-than-life Supermoon/Jupiter conjunction.
Jupiter in retrograde allows those born under the sign of Cancer to expand their inner consciousness. This is a wonderful time to learn mediation if you don’t already know how to meditate.
Sitting still with your mind can dive deeply into your heart and soul, allowing you to learn the greatest lesson of all, to love yourself. That Whitney Houston song “The greatest love of all.”

Family means everything to the sign of Cancer so take the time to be with family for most of this month. The sign of Capricorn finds balance this month by listening to those born under their opposite sign, Cancer.
All the issues you have been hearing about at the end of December 2025 such as Economics, Healthcare, Epstein files, and wars will be front and center as we move through the first half of 2026.
Capricorn could fall in love if they are single and if married, they are romantic with Mercury, Venus, Sun, and Mars all in Capricorn.
Venus, the romantic planet, and the planet of beauty will move into the sign of Aquarius on January 17th starting to switch the attentions to those with Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Aquarius.
The new Moon is in Capricorn at 28 degrees (2:52PM EST) on January 18th and whatever Capricorn was feeling at the start of this month has ended and they are ready to move into the second phase of a new project they may be working on.
This new Moon has no stress in it with plenty of opportunities (Sextiles and Trines) to open many doors for those with Capricorn and Cancer energy.
Pisces and Aquarius are also getting opportunities to gain experience in all areas of their lives with this new Moon combination.
This may be a fresh start for Americas direction for the better. We could see a peace deal with Russian and Ukraine or at least a huge step forward.
The Sun moves into the sign of Aquarius on January 19th, changing the spotlight from Capricorn to Aquarius. Happy Birthday to all born under the sign of Aquarius.
Mercury moves into the sign of Aquarius on January 20th, and Mars moves into Aquarius on January 23rd.
The Sun, Venus, Mercury, and Mars will all be in Aquarius by the 23rd of January. All these planets are in direct motion so if you have Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Aquarius you are ready to fly. Any New Years resolutions are ready to be put into practice.
Aquarius is ready to join a new group experience, have a romantic relationship or deepen and existing one, create new technological innovations, get an astrology reading or study up more on astrology.
Making money through free-lance work since the 11th house, the house that normally rules Aquarius, is money earned through one’s own efforts. Aquarius may be wanting to work away from the normal manifestation of earning money.
Aquarius is also affiliated with U.F.O. activities so we may hear more about the disclosure of files by the middle of February.
Aquarius takes the conservative Capricorn energy we experienced in the first few weeks of January and moves it to the rebellious, independent, original expressions of Aquarius.
We are moving into a more solid expression of the sign of Aquarius. The Age of Aquarius started on February 4, 1962. It takes 2,000 years for an age to mature.
We are starting to see technology take off and people are waking up to the realization that they can make the changes they want and not depend on their governments or religious institutions to make the changes they truly need to create more peace and self-empowerment.
Neptune will move back into the sign of Aries on January 26th, and Pisces will move into manifesting their dreams when Saturn/Neptune conjunction comes on Valentine’s Day.
Uranus will move back into the sign Gemini at the end of April 2026. It is currently finishing a seven-year period in Taurus when economic uncertainty has been the reality.
We will see the economy still trying to find balance and confidence till the end of April/ beginning of May. Then Uranus will leave the financial sign of Taurus and move into the charming sign of Gemini, the sign of communication.
Neptune in Aries allows Neptune to wake up from its foggy dreams and put those wonderful dreams into ACTION, Aries. This combination also allows those with Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Aries to become more spiritual and less aggressive.
Neptune takes around 14 years to travel through a sign. The sign of Aries will slowly come into a more mature spiritual place within the next 14 years, and Pisces can finally be noticed for their accomplishments as they move forward with confidence.
The first Mercury retrograde period will start at the end of February so I will cover this in my February column.
